Welcome to W. B. Green Library!

The mission of the W. B. Green Jr. High media program is to ensure that students and staff are lifelong learners who can access, evaluate, and use information in both print and non-print forms as well as engage in reading for discovery and personal enjoyment. 

The library strives to serve as a literary, multi-media, and technological learning commons for the students, staff and community of W. B. Green Jr. High.

    • Books: Reference, Nonfiction, Biography, Fiction, Story Collection, Easy, Spanish, and New Book.

  • Etiquette
    • Respect other library users by working, studying, and reading quietly.
    • Keep the library clean by not eating, drinking, or chewing gum.
    • Keep the library neat by disposing of trash properly and pushing in chairs.
  • Computers
    • Permission from library staff must be obtained prior to usage (including printing).
    • Library catalog, Microsoft programs, Accelerated Reader (AR), and Internet.
    • Parent permission required to use Internet (form received in registration packet).
    • Internet safety must be practiced at all times.

     400,000 words w/ 85% average

                       OR 
     560,000 words w/ 80% average

               

      Check if a book is AR testable, the book's reading 

                           level and point value.

                   

             Parents can login with their child's AR 

            information to view their scores and set

                             up email notifications.
